About this ebook

He watched her walk away once, twice…he’s not letting her go again.

Honorable and courageous, Lieutenant Brayden Street has never been afraid to lead with his heart when it comes to Justice Hayes. Crazy in love with her since the day they met, he plans to wine ’n dine his way into her life once they’re no longer teammates. But a single act of caring the night before BUD/S graduation backfires on him, and he loses the only woman who’s ever understood the shattering wounds that both constrain and strengthen him.

He drowns in regret but doesn’t chase after her. He learned from his father that relationships are unfixable - you lose, you lump it. But then a startling confession from his brother changes everything.

Now he’s laser-focused on earning back Justice’s trust and making her fall in love with him. It’s going to be a helluva challenge to find his way past her conviction that a thief isn’t meant to be with a so-called “Golden Boy,” but he’ll stop at nothing to convince her.

Cracks begin to show in her defenses from his relentless pursuit, but then he succumbs to a moment of weakness one night and does something that just might ruin his chances all over again…

(4.5) STOP!! If you have not read Justice, put this aside and download (for free) Justice A Choose Your Hero Romance. I love Justice it was a 5 star read it is intense and a winner. Moving on we pick up where Justice leaves off and Brayden's team is to the rescue. Brayden is tough (hey he is a seal) with class. A true gentlemen who has always been there for Justice . His scene with his brother Keith helped solidify the man Brayden has become. He is Justices' comfort zone, he embodies, care, love. I like the info that is brought to light with Keith and Pete at the end. The scene at the very end with Justice, discussing his future plans, and then pulling out that T Shirt my heart swooned. I chose to read all 3 endings and I am glad I did, each provides a different perspective.

Brayden the dimpled, ice-cream eating friend in BUDS - what isn't there to adore. Especially the final night which resulted in disaster, I fell in love with him in that scene. This ending resonated with me the most as I felt after the 1st book "Justice" that he was the one...and he kept the t-shirt!

Remember those days of your childhood when you stood in front of a candy display clutching that quarter trying to decide which candy you would buy? Well, get ready to have that feeling again when reading Justice -A Choose A Hero Romance Where The Reader Controls The Ending- (whew) by Tracy Tappan. I think that the only difference is that this is a life decision with no bad consequences, only guaranteed satisfaction (times 3 if you dare) and HEA's all around! In Justice, we meet a star athlete, who happens to be a trained master thief and an all around kick a ** woman who has a chance to compete with the big boys and join the US elite Special Operation Forces. Caveat: she has to pass the Navy's rigorous SEAL training program, BUD/S. Intense and uber realistic are the only descriptions I can make about this portion of the story. A nail biting, gritty detailed, fist clenching, heart racing, and pulse pounding...you get the idea... tale of Justice's grueling training is portrayed. The story fascinates me because not only does it portray each stage of the training, but it takes you along for the ride through the eyes of the main character, Justice- aka the "BUD/S Woman". Along the way you meet her future possible heroes: Keith: "Man of the Hour and all around Hunk-a-Chunk-a" , Brayden: "... big heart...toe-curling dimples..gallantry", and Pete: "...aviator sunglasses..factory-strength hotness and yum...". They each have traits that appeal to different aspects of her personality - and yours:-) It's like being faced with choosing between a chocolate chip cookie, an ice cream sundae, or a slice of cheesecake. It's subjective. This book isn't pick option A. for a sexy hero, B. for a rough bad boy, or C. for a sappy friend-with-benefits hero. She weaves a real to life storyline/ plot for each hero. Each track is unique with realistic action and a satisfying conclusion based on a different personal issue the heroine has faced during her life. I was happy that she could pull off making each guy "fit" Justice so perfectly. It drove me crazy too, because unlike a ménage story, I wanted to only like one of the guys for her. But I ended up getting possessive about all of them....sigh... But initially at least, you must choose Justice's own path forward through one of her awesome heroes. You can't go wrong whether you pick one hero- or eventually all of them! Each story is non-repetitively satisfying and actually gives you a better understanding of the heroine's personality. I devoured all three endings and was pulling my hair after all of them. Why- because I decided on my absolute favorite guy, her perfect compliment, the one man who totally "got" her, the hunkiest of the hunkiest- only to palm slap myself and change my mind time and time again. If only I could combine all three into one... But then I probably wouldn't have the enjoyment of reading "three" different perspectives in what turned out to feel like one satisfyingly story. When you love a book, sometimes you don't want it to end. So having multiple, well written HEA's is a treat. Think- "sequel" on steroids and not having to stop after one potato chip. *Sorry for all the food references* In this instance, you CAN have it all. Well played Tracy, well played. And when you finally finish reading Justice, and you desperately need more, look up her other books : The Wings of Gold Series (Military/Romantic) or The Community Series (Paranormal). You're welcome in advance. I received an ARC of this book to leave my honest, and somewhat long-winded opinion.
